These 10 revision tips will give some structure to your studying.
Notes
Get all your notes together as soon as possible. When you list out all the topic you need to cover from mandatory training, core competencies and your chosen additional topics it does add up. Summaries of the main competencies in this blog.
Timetable
Make a revision timetable and stick to it. This was you can ensure you are giving a fair amount of your time to topic you need to cover.
News
Keep up to date with the news especially financial issues. Be sure to look out for any new policies that may have recently come in. The assessors will expect you to be aware of recent news.
Study Buddy
Find a revision buddy sitting the same session to study with. You will have questions the other can answer as well as tips on studying and someone to moan to.
Accept Help
If someone offers to help you take it! There will always something you don’t know. Especially if your peers have already sat the exam.
Memorise
Make a voice recording of your presentation and learn it off by heart. This way you should be less nervous when you present to the APC assessors and less likely to forget it. You can listen to it as you commute and even before the exam.

Learning Type
Find out what type of learner you are and use that to your advantage; e.g. kinesthetic, audio, visual, etc.

Practice makes perfect
Practice your presentation in front of whoever will listen until you are sick of hearing it. The more you know it, is the more confident you will be with your delivery.
Last but not least TREATS
Don’t forget to reward yourself with a treat for all the hard work you have put in. There’s a reason people love to say work hard play hard.
